Wrapping up October

october-resolutions-corrNovember is here already and my happiness project continues. Here is something about how my October went.

The absolutely best resolution in October was “Challenge yourself”. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my challenge for October was to finish a professional project. I guess it’s not a coincidence that the resolution worked so well – if you set up a deadline, do some planning and start working, you’re bound to get results.  🙂 If I hadn’t done it, I think I would’ve continued to vaguely procrastinate on the project. Salsa dancing and happiness project update

I had my second salsa class yesterday.

I’m enjoying the classes tremendously and I have started thinking about sewing a salsa skirt. Not too short a skirt though, I don’t want to scare anyone with my cellulite. 🙂

I did a Google search for salsa skirts yesterday and it appears you can wear almost anything (or almost nothing) with it, especially if you do street salsa. [Read more…]
