I have to confess I fell off the wagon weeks ago! The good news is that it’s not as bad as it sounds.
I have kept up the level of activity I had on the third week of the Neat Plan, which means I spend ~1,5 hours on my feet every day. But I haven’t done the “mental” assignments that are part of the plan (i.e. NEAT Beats). One of my assignments was to sew a cover for my Amazon Kindle, but haven’t made much progress with it. I have had a pattern and fabrics waiting for me for several weeks already…
Even though I have struggled with NEAT Beats, it’s been fairly easy to eat according to the NEAT dietary guidelines. That’s because I already cook most of my meals and I also started keeping a record on my meals . At the moment I eat a balanced diet of 1500 – 1600 calories a day. 🙂
On the whole, I find the Neat Plan very ambitious. I still like it very much, but to me a more realistic timeframe would be 6 months or perhaps a year. I can’t make profound changes in my lifestyle in just a couple of months.
My Workouts for Week 13
I had three 45 minute workouts last week, two aerobic ones and one that focused on strength training. Plus I walked on average 8525 steps a day. After I twisted my socks in a knot trying to take my own measurements, I found out I’ve lost ~1,6 inches (4 cm) on my waist so far. 🙂
