New Set of Before And After Weight Loss Pictures

Like I mentioned in my perfectionism post, I’ve lost approximately 3.8kg (~ 8lb) in the last four months. I decided it’s time to take a new set of pictures so I can compare them to the last set of weight loss pictures form August.

I stopped taking my monthly comparison pictures because I was so pissed off with myself. I wasn’t losing any weight; I think I was actually regaining though it’s difficult to say because I started regularly weighing myself again in October.

Here they are, from side and from front. This is how a 4kg weight loss looks like on my tummy,unfortunately though it doesn’t reveal the fat I’ve lost from my face. I’ve also lost lots of weight from my “upper belly”, below my breasts, so that I now have an inkling of waist.

I must say it was much easier to make my butt fit into my size 8 (38) goal jeans than before but it will still take a lot of time before I’m able pull the zipper up.

Maybe next fall? My weight loss rate is ~1kg or ~2lb per month. (I joined the Slowest loser group in my forum). 🙂 I’m not in a hurry to lose weight any faster, even though I wouldn’t mind it either.

Any of this weight loss wouldn’t be possible, if the last four months hadn’t been relatively stress free. There hasn’t been big upheavals in my life. Regular weightings, food journaling and not burying my head in the sand has helped, but I don’t think it would have been possible for me to stick to the good habits if wasn’t relatively stress free in the first place.

So making some changes has certainly paid off.

What comes to my workouts, they are going well. I’m all but finished with FBB and I’m now contemplating on what program to follow after that. I don’t think I go back to doing the Full-Body-Licious just yet, I still need to work with my strength.

    Hi Satu! Congratulations! Yes, I can see that the top of your waistline has gotten quite a bit slimmer. You are definitely narrower cross-wise in the waistline too. Lovely that so much of this is coming of the waistline. That happened to me too. It literally takes years off a person’s looks to lose some of the mid-life stomach fat.

    Your birthday is coming up in a few months. I’ve always found it a good time, a few months before my birthday, to hit the goals hard, to give myself a great personal birthday present. I suggest that you really watch those calories hard, and possibly have a few “sacrifice days” per week with extra low calories, so that you lose more weight before your birthday. You really are pretty close to wearing the size 8’s. That should motivate you to hunker down and try even harder to get this job done. 😀

      Thanks for the compliments, Marion!

      I know I could lose weight faster than I do, but I’m not in a hurry. The weight will come off in time. The good thing about my current rate of weight loss is that it’s pleasant and pretty stressless.

      Thanks, Deb! I wouldn’t call my stomach quite toned yet except maybe in comparison to my earlier state.

      And I would love having everything yesterday, but I love comfortable weight loss even better! 🙂

    Excellent Satu! Very very noticeable change in your after photos. You are doing great. I’m a Slowest Loser too, but the good news is the slower losers tend to make changes that last a lot longer than those who lose quickly. I can’t wait to see photos of you in those size 8s!!
