New Set of Before and After Pictures

It was again time to take a new set of pictures to assess whether I’ve lost any fat or not. I wasn’t very happy about it, because June was a hard month for me. I had a hard patch, and for over a week I only ate candy and ice cream or any food – that didn’t require cooking. I didn’t much exercise either.

Not a good thing, obviously.

Here are the front shots, taken on 7th June and today, 5th July.

It looks like I might have lost an itty bit of belly fat. But then the site pictures tell a different story…

Either I’m very bloated or I’ve actually gained weight. 🙁

For that reason I didn’t feel like hopping on a scale. I feel more like burying my head in sand.

Well, let’s just say that this is a good reminder that I can’t be too relaxed if I intend to lose weight. I can have my daily 3 pieces of chocolate, but not a week-long eat fest if I want to lose weight.

  1. Actually, relaxation might be the best thing! Stress is what causes us to gain belly fat, so relax into the idea that you can trust yourself to make the choices that best serve your body 🙂

To me, your belly looks tighter, overall.

I agree about relaxation, though I’m not a naturally relaxed person! 🙂

  2. Oh Satu… it looks like your shape has changed a bit. I wonder if it’s exercise related. I agree with Karen that your belly does look tighter!

Hang in there (and I’ll hang with you!)

  3. Jane says:

I am with the other ladies! I think your tummy does look tighter, and I think, smaller! Losing weight can be a funny thing … as well as gaining weight! Hang in there, you are doing great!

    • Satu says:

      Thanks, Jane!

Well, if you all say my tummy looks tighter, that’s probably true. I thought it looks somehow different, but then I thought it must be because my panties/knickers cover my lower belly…. I seem to be a little bit paranaoid. 🙂

The side picture looks odd though.
