Weight Loss In Pictures 2 + Workouts

Let’s leave my weight loss pictures update for later and concentrate on my workouts for a moment.

This is my third week of doing Flavia’s Full-Body-Licious program. My fitness level is clearly improving, because instead of doing one round of the four circuits I’m now able to  do two rounds!

It still doesn’t mean I’m not completely blasted after every workout. :-p

I’m not sure whether I should keep doing three workouts a week or increase my workouts to four per week. I probably play it safe and increase the amount of workouts after I really master them.

The annoying thing about Flavia’s program is that I think I’d get more out of the it if I needn’t always fumble with the equipment. My dumbbells are always on the other side of the room and the exercise ball on the other. The worst thing is that sometimes it takes ages to position the exercise ball so that it stays firmly in place and I’m actually able to do something with it.

Another pitfall is that even though it’s possible to do the program at home with an exercise ball, dumbbells and elastic bands, it would be much easier to do it in a gym with proper equipment.

My basic activity level is the same as before I started doing Flavia’s program: my 7-day average is still over 10,000 steps.

Unless I’m completely deluding myself, I think I’ve lost an itty bit of fat since the last time I took pictures (= not much). Lately,  I haven’t taken care of my eating as well as I should: the gaps between my meals have grown too long and I probably eat too little.  Then I snack and eat candy in the evening. Duh!

I’m happy my progress hasn’t stopped completely.

Next week I’m going on vacation, so I won’t be able to do my usual workouts.   I’m not going to stress over my eating either. I just do my best to eat reasonably well.

I’m really excited to see my two little nieces. I plan on having lots of fun with them, perhaps I teach them to plank! 😀

  2. Hi Satu! Very slimmer tummy pictures! Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think I feel internally bossy about what I’m going to do with my workouts. That’s why I usually workout with my own plan alone, but also why I need to take the yoga class with my daughter to learn from others. Yes, it sure is annoying to use different equipment or do exercises in a different order than I would like. But it’s good character training too.

    When you’re doing so good, how do you not shout it from the rooftops! That’s why I couldn’t understand the logic of why you had writer’s block this week with this super good news.

    Anyways, yay for you!

      RE my writer’s block: I think you nailed in the head in your earlier comment:

      “I got your message, Satu. I would just say to you to just write something. Everything you write doesn’t have to be perfect or have a great point.

      I think that my readers have liked my posts where I just bumbled around saying my feelings about exercise. These posts seem sort of like losers when I write them, but they’re well liked. ”

      I like when you say “internally bossy”! That’s new one for me. 😀

  3. You most definitely can tell you have lost fat. YEA! Keep up the great work. Don’t get discouraged over the workout. You’ll get it, just keep going.
